Suspicious UAS Reporting Tool

Suspicious UAS Reporting Tool

Instructions
  • The Suspicious UAS Reporting Tool (SURT) is intended for use by FAA System Operations Security personnel and select interagency partners deployed to protect sensitive events to easily capture information regarding suspicious UAS incidents. SURT is also designed to enable interagency partners responsible for locations, facilities, and assets protected by security airspace restrictions and C-UAS systems to do the same as part of the information sharing agreements established with the FAA pursuant to 10 U.S.C. §130i, 6 U.S.C. §124n, and 50 U.S.C §2661.

  • SURT is focused on those suspicious UAS incidents, which do not necessitate real-time calls to the FAA's Domestic Events Network (DEN). However, to better enable users to maintain unified incident logs, SURT can accommodates those incidents needed to be called in.

  • Each report is intended to capture information on potentially multiple suspicious UAS incidents occurring during a reporting period (use of a 24-hour period is recommended) for an individual sensitive event or for an individual locations, facilities, and assets.

  • Fill out the report by entering the requested information for the overall report in the first section and then for each individual incident. Click 'Add Incident' to provide specifics for each individual incident.
